WHOLEWHEAT BLENDER* PANCAKES

3/4 CUP WHEAT (WHOLE KERNELS)
1-1/2 CUPS BUTTERKILK OR SOUR MILK
4 TBSP. MARGARINE
3 TBSP. CORNMEAL
2 EGGS
2 TBSP. BROWN SUGAR
1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA
1 TBSP. BAKING POWDER

Place wheat and buttermilk in blender.*
Blend on high for 4 minutes.
Add margarine, cornmeal, eggs, and brown sugar.
Blend for 30 seconds.
Add baking soda and baking powder.
Blend for 3-4 seconds only.
Pour onto pre-heated griddle.

Yield: 20-25 pancakes.

*NOTE : 6-cup blender is preferred because batter will rise quickly.
